TORONTO, ON — The Next Generation of Fort York Defenders have officially named the fallout of the 701 Fleet Street encroachment: The 1909 Tempo Curse. By violating the 1909 Indenture — the sacred municipal vow that Gore Vale remain a public park "and for no other purpose" — the Toronto Tempo have triggered a legal and spiritual "Gore Grudge" that heritage advocates say will haunt the franchise until the encroachment is reversed.
